At UK Bunded Fuel Tanks, we’re committed to fostering community engagement and inspiring the next generation of engineers and welders. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting the Young Farmers youth group from Steeton, West Yorkshire, for an enriching evening at our manufacturing facility.
A Glimpse into Fuel Tank Manufacturing
The evening began with an exclusive tour of our manufacturing facility in Gisburn, Lancashire. The young farmers were given an in-depth look at the various stages of our production process, where we craft bespoke bunded fuel tanks with precision and care. Our expert team explained the importance of safety and quality, showcasing how our tanks are designed to hold 110% of the inner tank’s contents to prevent spills.
Hands-On Welding Experience
In the spirit of hands-on learning, the young farmers participated in a basic welding workshop. They eagerly took part in a friendly competition to weld their initials, guided by our skilled professionals. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and creativity come to life as they embraced this new skill.
Building Skills and Community
This event was not just about imparting technical skills; it was about building community connections and inspiring the young farmers through practical experiences. We are grateful to the Young Farmers youth group for their participation and enthusiasm, and we look forward to hosting more such events in the future.
At UK Bunded Fuel Tanks, we pride ourselves on being a market leader in high-quality, all-steel construction bunded tanks. With over two decades of experience, we continue to support and engage with our community, offering top-quality products as well as educational opportunities.
